Grants for Innovation: Digital Ministry Grant process offered by ELCA Innovation is now open to receive applications!
What is this grant? Grants for Innovation: Digital Ministry Grant is open for application by any ELCA congregation, synod or related organization with an idea for a project that relates to digital ministry. Priority for grant selection will be given to those ideas which incorporate digital ministry in a way that reaches new people and promotes equity, inclusivity, evangelism and/or community engagement. A Digital Ministry Grant is a one-time award ranging from $3,000 to $30,000.
Who can apply? Any ELCA congregation, synod or ELCA-affiliated ministry such as campus or outdoor ministry is welcome to apply for a Digital Ministry Grant. Grant recipient organizations must have 501c3 status.
How do I apply? Please find the "Grants for Innovation Guide-Digital Ministry Grants" document, attached. This guide will support you through each step of the grant process. A few highlights:

When can I apply?
Applications will be received on a rolling basis from now until July 2027. The first round of grant application review will take place in October. The first round of grant awards will be notified by October 31.
