Target Audience:

Council members, Faith Formation Leaders

Note: As with all the Vitality workshops, it is best if several folk attend from the congregation with the support of the pastor and congregational president.  At this workshop there will be opportunities to break out for discussion with others from your congregation, as well as opportunities to share ideas with others from around the synod.

Facilitators:

Pastor Kendra Nolde and Pastor Tom Wehrman.

Description: Mother Teresa said, “We have forgotten that we belong to each other.”  This lapse in memory has caused deep fractures and allowed fear, hatred, and division to infect our lives together – yes, sometimes even in the church.  Yet, named and claimed by the Holy Trinity, we know it’s all about relationship!  During this time of pandemic, we are once again recognizing the importance of community and connection.  This Congregational Vitality Workshop will explore biblical models that can help us remember our belonging to one another and share some best practices for developing healthy, life-changing, Spirit-centered relationships.  And what new ways of creating community have been made possible with increased digital presence in these days?

This event will take place via Zoom. There is no cost to participate, but we ask that you register to help us better facilitate the experience.
