Responsibilities include: Select appropriate anthems for the church year, following the liturgical calendar; Attend all music ministry meetings; worship planning and hymn selection; Recruit new members for vocal choir; The choir director may be the cantor, if the assisting minister or pastor does not chant; The choir director tries to connect other instrumentalists for service, choir anthems etc.; The choir director is encouraged to attend workshops; Rehearsals preparation from September to May, including Sunday worship, mid-week Advent, mid-week Lenten service, and Holy Week.

Executive Director — Atonement Lutheran Church, Overland Park, Kan.
Large congregation in Overland Park, Kan. is seeking to fill a position of Executive Director. This position will be responsible for implementation of our vision and church operations. All staff with the exception of Worship Life and any Called/Rostered individuals serving in Associate Pastor roles will report to the Executive Director.
The ideal candidate will have a heart for Jesus and growing His kingdom along with a strong business acumen (perhaps a PMA, recent retiree, someone seeking to leave a corporate setting).
