BUILDING
DEDICATION SET FOR FEBRUARY
"Scherer
Memorial Lutheran, Chapman, KS, is planning a celebration to dedicate
their new building! Following a tornado in June, 2008, the small congregation
has been richly blessed with gifts of treasure, time and talent. Therefore,
a building is almost complete and at 2:30 p.m. on February 7, 2010,
any and all who would come to worship and glorify God are welcome to
participate as we dedicate the sanctuary, furnishings, and our lives
to God's service. The congregation will be honored to have Bishop Mansholt
preside. A time of fellowship will follow the dedication. "For
we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life!" (Ephesians
2:10)
